Submitted Date: 5/10/2023
Department:
Request Type: Marketing: Other
Requested Completion Date: 5/31/2023
Priority: Low
Hi Team! Our committee (Lauren Helgeson, Scott Wenzel, Torrie Marshall and myself) would like to work with Marketing to create the Program Matrix for our PROs. We are also open to suggestions on the naming of it. I discussed this with Ronnie a few months ago and we have received the go ahead from the Sr. Leadership team.
Our committee’s thoughts is that this will be posted for the PROs via a link on the Vyne > Opportunities Page. The link will take them to a page with all client’s listed (using the program Logo) and then when they click on the program they want to learn more about it will take them to a page with that programs information found on the attached spreadsheet.
If it would be easier to set up a time to meet with us to discuss this and answer questions, we’d be happy to meet. Thank you!!

Ticket #36 - workingsolutions.com Javascript Contains Secret https://js.hsleadDows.net/leadDows.j
Request by: Craig Flowers (cflowers@workingsol.com)
Submitted Date: 4/17/2023
Department:
Request Type: Web Development
Requested Completion Date: 4/30/2023
Priority: Medium
Description
In order to prevent a breach, the detected secret must be removed from the public-facing javascript. This is important as any
malicious actors who have access to this key will now have access to sensitive information which could be used to compromise a
system or gain unauthorized access.
Risk
Leaving a private key in public facing Javascript can be highly dangerous, as it would expose the key to anyone who has access to
the code. This could lead to malicious actors gaining access to the associated account or service, and potentially using the private
key for activities such as stealing funds or data, manipulating or even destroying digital assets, and more. Additionally, leaving a
private key exposed may also increase the risk of hacking attempts on other services related to that same private key.
Recommendation
To ensure security, the code should be thoroughly reviewed and modi”ed to remove any secrets that are not meant to be publicly
accessible. Additionally, rigorous security measures should be implemented to protect against future attempts at breaching

Ticket #33 - workingsolutions.com WordPress Unauthenticated Blind SSRF Via DNS Rebinding Vulnerability (CVE-2022-3590) https://workingsolutions.com/
Request by: Craig Flowers (cflowers@workingsol.com)
Submitted Date: 4/17/2023
Department:
Request Type: Web Development
Requested Completion Date: 4/30/2023
Priority: High
Description
WordPress is a free and open-source content management system written in PHP and paired with a MySQL or MariaDB
database.
WordPress is a;ected by an unauthenticated blind SSRF in the pingback feature. Because of a TOCTOU race condition
between the validation checks and the HTTP request, attackers can reach internal hosts that are explicitly forbidden.
A;ected Versions:
WordPress versions 6.1.1 and prior
QID Detection Logic:
This issue sends an HTTP GET request and checks for vulnerable version of WordPress running on the target application.
Risk
Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute requests to systems in the internal
network to reveal sensitive information of the server with blind Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via DNS Rebinding.
Recommendation
Customers are advised to referblog.sonarsource.com or WPScan security advisory
Detail Output

Submitted Date: 4/17/2023
Department:
Request Type: Web Development
Requested Completion Date: 4/30/2023

Description
jQuery UI is a collection of GUI widgets, animated visual e;ects, and themes implemented with jQuery (a JavaScript
library), Cascading Style Sheets, and HTML.
The web application is using a JavaScript library that is known to contain at least one vulnerability.
Risk
Attackers could potentially exploit the vulnerability in the JavaScript library. The impact of a successful exploit depends
on the nature of the vulnerability and how the web application makes use of the library.
Recommendation
Please refer to the information provided in the response section. Also check the vendor’s security advisories related to
the vulnerable version of the library.
Detail Output
Vulnerable javascript library: jQuery.ui.tooltip
version: 1.10.3
Details:
CVE-2021-41182 : jQuery-UI versions before 1.13.0 are vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting(XSS) attacks. Please refer to vendor
documentation (https://blog.jqueryui.com/2021/10/jquery-ui-1-13-0-released/) for latest security updates.

CVE-2021-41184 : jQuery-UI versions before 1.13.0 are vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting(XSS) attacks. Please refer to vendor
documentation (https://blog.jqueryui.com/2021/10/jquery-ui-1-13-0-released/) for latest security updates.
———————————————-
CVE-2022-31160 : jQuery UI is a curated set of user interface interactions, e;ects, widgets, and themes built on top of
jQuery.
Versions prior to 1.13.2 are potentially vulnerable to cross-site scripting. Initializing a checkboxradio widget on an input
enclosed within a label makes that parent label contents considered as the input label. Calling “.checkboxradio( “refresh”
)” on such a widget and the initial HTML contained encoded HTML entities will make them erroneously get decoded. This
can lead to potentially executing JavaScript code.
The bug has been patched in jQuery UI 1.13.2. To remediate the issue, someone who can change the initial HTML can wrap
all the non-input contents of the “label” in a “span”.

Ticket #31 - workingsolutions.com Vulnerable JavaScript Library Detected - Handlebars https://workingsolutions.com/careers/
Request by: Craig Flowers (cflowers@workingsol.com)
Submitted Date: 4/17/2023
Department:
Request Type: Web Development
Requested Completion Date: 4/30/2023
Priority: High
Description
Handlebars compiles templates into JavaScript functions..
Vulnerable javascript library: Handlebars
version: 1.0.rc.1
Details:
Handlebars template (with version before 1.0.0.beta.3) that used user input in an HTML attribute value was wide open to a
trivial XSS exploit. Note that unquoted attribute values are still open to attack, but this set of characters at least brings
Handlebars in line with other Mustache implementations and other template languages.
Solution: Handlebars version 1.0.0 addresses the issue. Please refer to vendor documentation
(https://github.com/wycats/handlebars.js/blob/master/release-notes.md) for the latest security updates.
———————————————-
In Handlebars version below 4.0.0, quoteless attributes in templates can lead to XSS.
Solution: Handlebars version 4.0.0 addresses the issue. Please refer to vendor documentation
(https://github.com/wycats/handlebars.js/blob/master/release-notes.md) for the latest security updates.
———————————————-
In Handlebars version below 4.3.0, the calling of helperMissing and blockHelperMissing directly from a template is
exploitable with Remote-Code-Execution. In order to harden Handlebars against such exploit, calling of helperMissing and
blockHelperMissing directly from a template is disallowed. Also Handlebars version prior to 4.3.0 are a;ected by CVE-2019-
19919. Please refer vendor documentation (https://github.com/wycats/handlebars.js/blob/master/release-notes.md#v430–
-september-24th-2019, https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2019-19919) for the latest security updates.
———————————————-
Handlebars version below 4.5.3, are vulnerable to prototype pollution where templates may alter Object properties thus
leading to Remote-Code-Execution using crafted payloads. In order to prevent Remote-Code-Execution the properties
__proto__, __deneGetter__, __deneSetter__ and __lookupGetter__ have been added to the list of properties that must be
enumerable. Please refer vendor documentation (https://github.com/wycats/handlebars.js/blob/master/releasenotes.md#v453—november-18th-2019) for latest security updates.

Description
Most of the DNS servers include records of the form localhost. IN A 127.0.0.1 But if by mistake, the administrator misses
the trailing dot, the record is not fully qualied. So if the domain is example.com, the queries for localhost.example.com
would resolve to 127.0.0.1. Reference: https://seclists.org/bugtraq/2008/Jan/270
Risk
The websites in a;ected domain cannot be securely accessed on multi-user system. The attacker can trick another user on
the same system to access websites on a;ected domain in such a manner as to result in cross site scripting leaking
cookies.
Recommendation
Non fully qualied localhost entries should not be present in the nameserver for domains that host websites with HTTP
state management (cookies).

I had an introductory meeting with the City of Memphis who is seeking potential support for 311, 211, and IT help desk services. The Chief of HR at the City of Memphis, Alex Smith, has requested 3 additional slides.
1.) What the term “BPO” means and the value it brings to a municipal environment. I would like for this slide to drive value on how we can handle overflow, outage, or seasonal support (Memphis has a ton of bad weather that makes them have longer than normal hold times and there’s a huge issue with recruiting quality candidates to work these agent roles). After speaking with April, I also told them we could hire from the city and make jobs for tax payers. However, at the same time, Alex said we need to make sure it doesn’t have the tone of taking current jobs or the directors will be hesitant.
2.) Program support we have provided for logos on the sales deck ppt as well as the 2020 NY 311 program we supported. I’ve attached screenshots of an email with all the program names/details.
3.) A slide with my business card for when this presentation is shared internally.
She’s asked for this by Monday morning. If there’s an issue or anything I can do to contribute to the presentation please let me know.
Thank you!

As we move to 100% recorded interviews (vs. live phone interviews) we have a need for a short, professional video to insert into the Video Interview process that educates applicants on what they should expect as I.C.s.
